LG M6100 ReviewThe LG M6100 cellular phone is probably the coolest slide phone on the market today. As light as an 88 gram feather, this phone is less than 20 millimeters wide and has a ridiculous battery life. On standby, the M6100 will last up to 250 hours before needing to be recharged (around 50 hours more than most of the phones of its kind). Since it doesn’t flip open, it’s design makes it more comfortable to hold up to the ear for an extended period of time.

The LG M6100’s 1.3 megapixel camera has a built in flash, enabling the user to take clear, well lit pictures even when conditions are far from optimal. The camera doubles as a camcorder, so users can record and play high resolution videos with audio by MPEG4. The size, image definition, white balance and brightness of the pictures can be edited directly on the phone, and special effects options add a nice touch to the camera’s features.

Besides featuring a camera, camcorder and ultra sleek design, the M6100 also has a music player function that can replace expensive portable media players. The MP3 player has the ability to play MP3, AAC+ and AAC files, and any of them can be set as a ring tone, if one chooses to do so. Moreover, they can be shared with others via text message or email thanks to the multimedia messaging service (MMS).

All of these music, video and picture files will fit quite nicely on the LG M6100’s large 128 MB internal memory. These files can also be shared using packet exchange technology, which allows the owner to connect to the internet anytime, anywhere. If for some reason 128 MB isn’t enough space, users can easily connect the phone to a PC via a USB cable. All in all, this is a fantastic and stylish phone to own.
